Crystal Wagner, a multi-disciplinary artist, works in printmaking, installation, and drawing. For her installation work, Wagner converts 2-D materials into large scale three dimensional sculptures. Her work boasts loud neon colors incorporated into the use of alternative materials, such as prints of flora and fauna and disposable table cloths, to create voluminous, textural pieces that at once long to spread onto the ceiling and floor, while containing an element of constraint. Across the many different mediums that she works in, Wagner integrates her intricate, distinctive circular patterns.
