Idioten, 2013 , Plasticine, glass, 49.8 x 37 inches

Inna Levinson works in a variety of media, including film, drawing and sculpture. Her recent works employ the use of colorful plasticine clay, molded into story telling reliefs. Levinson humorously portrays both the positive and negative outcomes of human desire - its' greatness and its' ability to be destructive. Her reliefs are often pressed against the glass of the display and framed in windows, highlighting the spectator's role in viewing the art.
