Allouche Gallery is pleased to present Melmoth Confetti, a new body of work by Bast influenced by Oscar Wilde’s favored alias, Sebastian Melmoth. The paintings are the confetti – bright, colorful and celebratory. They exemplify Bast’s seminal style of blending abstraction and figuration, employing mixed media, found materials and autodidactic techniques.
