Allouche Gallery is pleased to present a new body work by Eric Freeman. Freeman, a master of color, allows the use of pure color to speak for his process. Influenced by Mark Rothko and Joseph Albers, Freeman’s sole use of color as subject creates powerful spatial mirages that inform his process wherein two-dimensional oil paintings exude three-dimensional illusory qualities that emerge into brilliant boundless fields. These fields are free of form and function where color is allowed to undulate and create illusions of movement.
