Allouche Gallery is proud to present a solo exhibition of works by Malik Roberts titled To Suffer A Lick. This traveling collection of works, having been exhibited in New York and now Los Angeles, invites the viewer to explore their own sense of liminality and uncertainty through paintings both dynamic and abstract, showcasing the artist’s individualistic approach to deconstructing and fragmenting figures. Roberts’ inspiration for the exhibition came from the recent global pandemic which created a sense of transition leading to a mental battle of waiting for the outcome.
