Allouche Gallery is pleased to present Paper Trail, a group show exploring the use of paper. From drawings and paintings to sculptures and collages, the artists employ unique methods of layering, space and emphasis. Layer after layer, the handling of paper transcends the two-dimensional: viewers are faced with folds, creases, cracks and crinkles juxtaposed with works that are bold, smooth and graphic. These elements invite the viewer to look past what is at face value. The exhibition explores contrast and juxtaposition through artists such as Ivan Alifan, Donald Baechler, Bast, FAILE, Shepard Fairey, Nick Georgiou, Paul Insect, Rafa Macarron, Robert Nava, Kenny Scharf and Swoon among others.
